Dr Tracey Phan is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon with special interests in Glaucoma and Medical Retina.
She underwent two prestigious overseas fellowships in the United Kingdom. She completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at the John Radcliffe Hospital, affiliated with Oxford University, where she gained in-depth knowledge and advanced surgical skills in the various aspects of glaucoma management.
Dr Phan also underwent Medical Retina training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, where she was mentored by world leaders in the fields of Medical Retina, Uveitis, and Genetics. Dr Phan has a special interest in treating vascular diabetic retinopathy, vascular retinal diseases, and macular conditions.
Prior to her time abroad, Dr Phan completed her specialty training at Sydney Eye Hospital and worked in several major Sydney metropolitan hospitals. She has a Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmic Science from University of Sydney and completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Phan has published in peer-reviewed well ranked medical journals, and throughout all stages of her career has enjoyed being involved in medical education.
Outside her medical career, Dr Phan enjoys travelling and discovering various interesting places around the world.
